- Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the foliage and cause leaf burn. East or north-facing windows are ideal locations.
- Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-26°C (65-80°F). Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations which can stress the plant.
- Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60-80%. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or group with other tropical plants to maintain adequate moisture levels in the air.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels slightly dry. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot, which can be fatal to Anthuriums.

Foliage Characteristics: Features distinctive palmate leaves with deep lobing and rich green coloration. Young leaves emerge with a bronze tint before maturing to their final deep green color with prominent venation.

I Smell Like a Gentleman Who Owns a Fireplace

The fragrance is warm, woody, and slightly sweet...that low amber note that smells expensive without trying to smell expensive, which, as we all know, is the actual expensive smell. My wife walked past me twenty minutes post-shower and said, unprompted, "You smell really good." I nodded like I had planned this.
The lather is genuinely rich; squeeze a modest amount and it blooms into a thick, creamy foam that covers everything efficiently. The texture is silky rather than watery, which matters more than people admit. Watery body washes feel like rinsing off with slightly scented regret. This one feels intentional. It cleans, and your skin actually feels clean afterward, not just rinsed. And the moisturizing? I wasn't expecting it. No greasy film, no lotion-begging dry patches by midday. Just quietly softer skin that doesn't make a big announcement about it.
Now, my honest gripe: the scent longevity has a ceiling. By mid-afternoon you're back to neutral. That's the gap between four stars and five for me. For daily freshness and an incredible morning window of smelling genuinely great, it absolutely delivers...but it won't carry you to bedtime.
